Headed out on the look out for stripers, to find a ton of reads but nothing willing to bite. Must of tried 25 different plugs, jogs, poppers etc. boats were everywhere waiting for something to happen. Every time birds seemed to gather boats would storm right through the school and scatter everything. After a couple hours, a few stripers were jigged off of swim shad's Biggest Striper being 26 inches. Ran back and forth to run into some birds, which appeared to have some stripers rolling on surface , but only blues in the 8-10 lb range were boated. Around 1:30, things starting turning around first keeper Striper was boated at 35in 16lb on panther Martin umbrella rigged with swim shads as well Bunch more of 8-10 Blues were trolled as the afternoon went on , caught on green eel umbrella rig with you guessed it , swim shad as the cripple fish. Great day on water,,

wait, you left out the best parts of the report...

after we found the lure to use (the swim shads on the umbrella rig) you proceeded to break it and loose it in the water! hahaha

and then you made captain john go home early cause you didn't want to miss taco night...how were those tacos anyway??
