With a little luck we will have a new majority leader by the end of tomorrow.

I guess I missed it , what is Harry Reid responsible for, I don't think it was he that shut the government down costing us billions ! I don't remember him getting us into a couple of wars ! Costing billions in lives & personnel !
Is he responsible for all the inaction in congress, or blocking any bills that would help Americans enjoy a better life , I guess I missed it all, I apologize !!

Capt Lou.
I must disagree (respectfully). Harry has held up hundreds of pieces of legislation. Billions in lives and personnel? The republicans,in my opinion, should have shut the government.
Let's hope for all of our sakes Washington can get it together.

Well it's all over. Now let's hope the congress and the executive can work together for all of our betterment. My guess is the president will still use executive orders to circumvent the constitution.

I sincerely hope so, but tend to doubt it ! Might get worse since the republican party is so divided within their own ranks!! I think I lost complete touch with what America really wants sans FLA & Wisconsin !!

I can't disagree with you on the split in the GOP.
I want to run. My platform would be term limits and a flat tax. I don't care if you make $30,000 or $30,000,000. Everyone pays 18% no deductions or loopholes. Every citizen needs skin in the game

Im with you 100% Steve on term limits and flat tax. Problem is the people that these benefit are the ones who would have to pass the laws

Ol'harry voted FOR the wars along with his buddies.....but he'll just blame GB and the Republicans like he always does instead of taking any responsibility for anything. I really don't see how the Republicans can do any worse.....
BO is just gonna veto away and do everything by executive order anyways.......so what's really gonna change
