Hi-Mar Fall Tournament : Results and Thank you
On behalf of the Hi-Mar Striper Club, I’d like to thank all of our participants and congratulate all of our winners in the Hi-Mar Striper Club Fall Tournament held this past weekend.
We were fortunate to have beautiful weather and reasonable conditions that allowed our 37 boats to participate in some of the best striper fishing we’ve experience this fall. The 40 hour tournament was tightly contested, with the majority of the boats weighing fish.
A special note of thanks to all of our sponsors, including our location sponsor, Bahrs Landing in the Highlands. As always, Jay and staff were very accommodating and the Hi-Mar Striper Club appreciates their gracious hospitality.
Here are the results:
1st Place: Twinz with a combined winning weight of 70.4lbs – Captained by Tom Parillo
2nd Place: Chompers with a combined weight of 62.6lbs - Captained by James Kastner
3rd Place: Johnny Fish with a combined weight of 62.0lbs - Captained by John Albanese
4th Place: Tyman with a combined weight of 60.6lbs - Captained by Chuck Many
5th Place: Feeling Crabby with a combined weight of 55.8lbs - Captained by Ryan and Gregg Taffet
Female Angler: 20.8lbs - Laurajane Kastner of Milltown who fished on Chompers
Junior Angler: 24.2lbs Mark Hecth Jr who fished on Nauti-Boy
Overall Largest Fish: 41.8lbs – Caught by Hi-Mar member, Jeff Sutton of South Plainfield who fished on Chompers
