After 3 of my last 3 charters being cancelled due to the weather I couldn't take it no more and headed down to the pier down the block, I snagged some bunker n baited my rods, changing my bait every 20 minutes or so, it only took a short 7hours before I got my first and only hit for the nite and this guy came up, I was about to release him when a local asked me if he could have him for dinner, after that I baited my rods quite often and waited another 3 hours, no hits! Not a bad day!!! Better than staying home changing diapers lol..

I know that pier very well caught a lot fish in thst corner in spring

how do u use a pier net and bring in the fish when ur alone? never done pier fishing before

its a challenge by yourself to bring an fish up on the pier with a net especially at low tide but there is always someone there to help

Last night there was someone there to help me but usually keep a bridge net with some weight in it tide the rail n in the water and when I have a fish on I just guide it right in to the net or if he's not big I just walk him right into the boat ramp, unhook it and release it.
