The weather was awesome today,,flat calm and a nice northwest breeze kept us tight on the anchors...An allstar cast came out today to take advantage of it....Fishing was tough for the most part today,,,It took a lot of drops to catch what we did which would have been good for a small crew but not enough for everyone onboard today...We did have plenty of shorts at times but getting everyone keepers today was tough for me...At times I had the fish stacked up under the boat and could not get them to bite...Some drops they did bite and we picked at em...Man did I do some maneuvering today to try and keep everyone in the game...You can see some of the readings in the pictures below...a few drops they were stacked up 40 feet off the bottom....Just did not want to chew well,,,they were chewing better at the end of the day but a little to late for everyone to catch...Scattered catches around the boat were mostly in the 3-6 keeper range for people with some guys having a dozen fish that were just short..(next years model.)Some only had 1-2...so overall a tough day,,,I guess if they were fluke I would be happy but not what I would have wanted everyone to go home with..Tomorrow is another story though!!!It looks good ,,,see ya for coffee...pics..

I was on this trip with a friend of mine, we fished the starboard stern, Mike and Kenny were on the port side. It was a slow day and as soon as Quinn realized a spot went dead, he cranked over the engines and said reel em' up. We moved around quite a bit and the last spot was by far the most productive of all places we fished all day, we actually filled our bucket on the last drop and had two nice bags of fillets to take home. Always a great trip on the OE, even when the bite is dead, Captain and crew work their asses off to get you into the fish
