TEAM SUPER COOL (my daughter and I) read the marine forecast the night before, with the wind and the predicted high seas, but nothing was going to stop us! Arrived to the boat with an increasing number of folks, but knew from experience there would be plenty of fishing room once things got started! Indeed, this was true as there was plenty of folks chumming all day long. Conditions were a bit sporty, but definitely fishable.
What can I say...EPIC, EPIC, EPIC FALL JIG Bluefishing with JUMBO fish. My daughter lost all of her line at one point and Bill kindly re-spooled us in quick order. Service like this may be hard pressed to find elsewhere, but on the CR, is standard. We were toast by 11:30 having each reeled in 15-20+ fish each. Besides no need to add to the body count on deck that kept increasing.
On the way home my daughter says "That was the best day of the year!"
MATES worked their asses off today and did an awesome job....thanks
