had to lower the blood pressure after seeing my Tide blow the game to ole miss, so took the kid out for some salt therapy...not a lot going on, tide was ripping on the outgoing at our spot....I take my usual spot up high, and he is down low, not a lot of action and just a couple of snags for me...when, what do I see out of the corner of my eye, but the kid lipping a rat bass, all on his own...I swear, he is like a 9 year old ninja fish whisperer...His first totally solo striper, at night, no less...so proud of the little brat :)

Way to go. Your little guy will remember that night forever. I caught my first bass off the beach on a clam with my dad.

Hahaha very cool! Looks like somebody made him self a young competitor! Picked a good one up over behind the gates the other night g there's bigger ones around just keep picking through them!
