Slow start today, unless you counted the sea bass. What a shame that we can't take a few of these big biscuits we caught today. The first week in September we were allowed 15 Sea Bass after getting 3 most of the summer. How does that make any f****** sense? One week at 15 then nothing until late October? Why not close it for that week and let us keep a couple after fluke closes? Even just 2 would make a big difference. It seems like a game of 3 card Monty with the regulations.
Anyway, we did get a some nice porgies and a couple triggerfish including a fat pool winner. Everybody took some filets home. It was day one and we were in search mode so we expect the catching to get better as we get them dialed in.
