I'd bet most will be bottom fishing. Ling, Cod, Blackfish and Triggers. Fun trips.

J bird from the Dorothy B. said "Sunday we are switching to the 3/4 day schedule, 7:30AM-2:30PM everyday.
We are going to start out bottom fishing for PORGY and anything else that wants to cooperate".

Most are either running for porgies or ling and flounder or doing combos for porgies and blackfish (1)

Couple boats are running this with crabs. Some Sponsors and some not. Not sure how the porgies are biting, does anyone know? Caught a bunch of seabass fluking last weekend (obviously they swam) and there were a few NY boats anchored up in the bay for porgies just don't know if its too early to put a decent catch together.

3-4 days a week fluking all summer. Maybe a couple ling trips next 2 weeks and yard and house work until sea bass and tog. 5-5 on the J2 Sunday maybe or the D during the week. Angler if they find poogies

Haven't given up yet but not looking good. Bluefish boats have been heading out east to the reefs for a solid month now and only catching a couple here and there. You never see them, just need to work it and get lucky. Clean water, that's where you would expect them to be. Went on a NS special last week 15 miles SE of PP and we did real good on bones. Had 5 nice sized albies but they still weren't buzzing around the boat which is half the fun to watch. On the other hand, last year they didn't show until 9/29 at SRR and the next day at the mud bouy. Gone just as quick. I'll be out there trying again on the Golden Eagle tomorrow
