Well yesterday a father and son drowned in the D&R Canal in Somerset after failing to negotiate a curve on Weston Rd.

Currently there is a F350 overturned into the South Branch at Rt 31 in Clinton actively leaking diesel.

Not good

What are they doing driving around at 3am? That's a tough curve and if your tired and/or not paying attention, well you see what can happen.

Andy and I are becoming experts in vehicle removal from rivers! the dump truck owner should be fined, as it wasn't an accident, it was carelessness! I would cut his truck into 6 pieces and scrap it!

A few years back, a buddy and I were kayaking the Pompton River and came across not 1, but TWO completely submerged vehicles. No idea how long they were there, but we called the local PD and within a few days, they were gone. Hate to think of all the fluids ending up in the water!

So there is an accident and the police dont have the vehicle removed from the water?
One call to the DEP and this will stop.

That spot is certainly < 20 mph to negotiate. Within 10 min of my house. And watch out on that road for the bicyclists as well, if I were one I would pick a better road to ride...just saying

Funny you mention cars in lakes. Its common practice to dispose of hot cars in waterways, that's most likely the situation you came across. The second car Andy and I pulled was a late 60's Mustang. I figured it was just a field car and the driver was a little to drunk and splashed it into the river.

After removing the car I found a cylinder and cutting torch hoses, I carry a full tool set in the trunk, but that's just a little extreme!
