We had another good day on the fluke grounds with a lot of jumbos. Jim Custer was back again having a great day with an 8 # fluke and a 9 # fluke to go with it plus many others. He told me it was his best day for big fish. All I can say is good job. Scott also did well with 3 keepers including a 6 and a 7 pound fish. Once again it was a good change of tide bite and we picked the rest of the day.
Jigging was best but there were fish caught on bait. As always some did good while others only had shorts.
Here is my take on the weather. If it blows as forecast you can forget about fishing where we have been catching the big ones. I had some groups coming down but they put it off till next week. We can fish behind the hook but I don't Know about catching.
No Galley tomorrow.
Chartered on Saturday
Thanks Captain George
