Finally had a decent day with the fluke south of Shark River. Ten fish with five keepers to 6lbs. Capt Ryan kept us on rough stuff all afternoon. He made several moves to find fish. Enjoyed the trip. New boat has plenty of room. Jigging with large smelts and spearing did the trick today. The fish bit hard all afternoon. Pool winner went 8.6lbs. Most of the keepers were nice thick fish around 19-20". Most serious flukers find jigging the rough stuff is fun and productive. You always have a better chance for a very large fluke. I can fish like today everyday. We FISHED today.
