More than likely will be. it doesnt take much once they are stacked up , in a DAY they can be gone like they were never here.
BUT , that just means its time to get ready to Blackfish.
Im also hoping that the weather doesnt blow out all the bait thats been for miles out there. IF that bait stays around it could make for a VERY interesting fall bass run , as well as a chance at some Tuna VERY close to shore

Uh ohhhhh..... Looks like our wives are going to be dealing with some very cranky husbands.
Only one thing possible with a forecast like this, go crabbing... It's usually good this time of year, lots of fun and you can't beat the eats.

There are always opportunities for stragglers on local live baits at the mouths of backbay creeks and the like. Some fish stay until late October gorging on fresh forage.

usually full moon in Sept is beginning of end regardless of mild blows, hurricane its done. stragglers on offshore lumps wrecks can be had for awhile

Since Gr8tful hasnt been posting, have not seen many crab reports. How has it been so far, as they are def worth the time if you can get a few dozen or more

Just start fishing deeper water 90 to 120 feet and you will find them. It's not over yet.

September full moon usually carries them away but it did start late this year and the water temps and bait may be enough to keep them around a bit longer. I hope!

Don't know about the rest of you but I'm getting tired of Fluke fishing and more looking forward to Blackfish..... Only 1 fish between now and Nov 16 when it goes up to 6.
Had some of our best days in October fishing in Tee shirts and bailing slobs. Some exploritory trips are coming up for sure.
Can't wait to feel that tick-tick-tick WHAM!!

Why is it that on a Tuesday when it's blowin and I'm home with my beautiful son I am so angry???
Gerry Zagorski

Make some lemonade out of those lemons Chef. Cook a nice meal, take it easy, enjoy your son (and post up a recipe :) )
As a metter of fact, taking some time to take care of some stuff around the house this week as we speak and making some deposits in the family emotional bank account for future withdrawal.
You don't want to be oversdrawn in that account and no better time earn some credit then when it's crappy outside.
Smile while you are doing this and earn even more credits :)

I know not many were fishing Monday, but there are plenty of fish where they have been if you didn't mind the bad conditions. I am trying tomorrow again. Its worth the beating when the fish are biting good.

If Steve spent a little less time breaking open those hermits and concentrated a little more on fishing, maybe he'd actually catch some fish!
