Raritan Bay Anglers kid fishing derby

Little man caught "most fish" today in his age group at the Raritan Bay Anglers kid derby in Perth Amboy. Very proud of the little man as he was the youngest active fisherman there and reeled in ALL of his OWN fish.

Guy (won't say kid as he wasn't even on the pier when most of "his" fish were caught) next to us took serious liberties with the rules. :mad:

Asides from that it was a very nice event and all the kids seemed to enjoy themselves.:cool:

Kudos to the RBA for doing this for the kids!

After attending last years kids derby in Keyport my daughter was looking forward to doing it again. We couldn't make the keyport derby so participated in this one. She did well with 8 snappers and lost prob 5-6 more. She had a blast and came home with a new rod/reel. She picked fishing over going to the amusement park, needless to say I'm a proud dad.
