For a short time today we had a slower drift, we went structure hopping ,as the drift improved so did the action. Many of the short fluke caught today, were large in the 17 inch plus size, we had "lot's of bites" today. We had some big fluke come aboard Kirk Williams pulled in a jumbo 10 lb. 4 oz. flukeasauras, plus he had his limit. Rich Viez Allentown Pa. pulled in a 9 lb. 5 oz. flukeasauras plus he also had his limit of bigger keepers some in the 4-5 lb. range. The Shrimpman didn't too bad either he had four nice quality keepers, some in the 4 lb. size. Capt. Nick Kouval and son Mike had eight nice keepers some in the four lb. size. Roy Pierson had some 4 lb. fluke to put in his cooler. Others today, also put several quality keepers in their coolers and freezers. Overall it was a decent day of fishing

Hazy hot and humid. It was ugly until we finally got some breeze. The breeze not only cooled us but started to move us along. When that happened the fish started coming over the rail. As we all know, this fishery depends on conditions and you gotta cover ground. Some big fish today. Kirk was right next to me in the bow. When the fish hit the deck I said double digits, Kirk said he never had a double. I said, I think you do now and I was right. Very nice fish And yes I was a little jealous :). I ended with four nice flat ties to take home, so I'm not complaining.

Nice long day of fishing. I'll be back. Thanks to capt and crew for a good day

Really? The answer is no. I don't "steal" numbers from anyone. But I do fish numbers that are given to me. Just want to be clear on that note.

Vin
Kirk didn't need my help, he did it all on his own rig. But I did try and throw him off his game:D
