Get the kids, get the wife and family as the snapper bite is RED-HOT.
Started on the Navesink with an in-coming tide and first cast had a 9 incher. Caught around 30 there and the tide was creeping in so made a move to eastern RB. First spot was a circus with loads of folks and multiple jet-skis. Not to mention the herd of folks on the jetty. Had to move.
To the other side of the pier and just game on. Every cast was either a hook up or multiple drive by attacks. On ultra light gear just a blast. It we caught > 100 in a couple of hours this may be an understatement. Fish ranged from 6-12 inches. Snapper blitzes with bait spraying everywhere. All fish released.
