Fluke fishing was outstanding early on for us. I boxed a limit by 11 and vin did the same shortly thereafter. We went into catch and release mode. I was next to one of our sponsor six packs when I threw back a 6.5 pounder. Boy were they shocked when they saw her go back:D
The southerlies then kicked in and that was it! The southerlies suck!
Decided to head back to the barn early for us (1:30) with our limit.
We had one stop shopping and a couple of drifts that will be remembered!
May hit greenwood lake tomorrow and take the kids tubing

Got an invite to go out on the DIRTY ONE and took the offer, broke the inlet, rounded the hook and there it was the PARKING LOT IN FULL FORCE, wiggled our way to some old marks and it was on, very aggresive fish banging and chasing whatever you threw at them, had to weed threw a bunch of 17.75s but that was fine with me, was throwing back 18 inch fish before I limited, thats how good the bite was for that window, then the good old south fn wind came out to play and ruin a perfect day, really sucks...thanx dude for a bite to remember;)

Six inch pink shine on a 9/0 octopus (from Atlantic bait and tackle, shameless plug) on a dropper loop 15 inches above a lead head from Sam (another shameless plug). A three inch chartreuse swimming mullet on the jig.
We were able to use very light tackle. I was bouncing a 3 in 40 feet of water. A light rod (12-20lbs) with a sustain 3000. Rod was doubled over most of the morning.
And I've said it before, if you think a 9/0 is to big, your wrong:)
