We started the day where we left them biting yesterday and found only a few. Moved to another area and found the fluke bio mass. Non stop action with the only problem being the shorts were on the bait immediately. on one drift we had over 500 shorts and 40 keepers. Ralph and Zack Bonard from Ogdenburgh took the pool with a 6 1/2 pound flatie.
The weatherman is killing the shore with his BS about dangerous ground swells. We had much worse seas last week than today. NW winds for tomorrow should be ideal. This is the fishing we wait for all year.
7:00 AM sailing tomorrow.
Thanks captain George
