Brian Migliaccio landed our biggest fluke of the year a beautiful 30 inch 12 pound fluke. I was about to end a drift when they shouted up that we had a big fish on. I knew by the way it was taking drag that it was a good one. I let Jim our big pool leader that we had a big one on. When I measured it at 30 inch i knew itwas over 10 pounds and it was fat. A boga scale showed at 12 and we weighed it at the dock an even 12 pounds. Lucky for Jim, Brian was not in the season pool so he still leads. A fluke over 10 pounds takes 1/2 the pool up until labor day. The pool is over $2600.
Brian did a great job bringing the fish to the net and LJ (little Joe) had no prblem scooping it up.
Good action today with plenty of shorts and some quality fish in the mix. No limits but John did manage 4 nice fish.
7:00 AM sailing the rest of this week.
Thanks captain George
