Went on a 1 1/2 day tile fish for the first time on a non sponsor boat out of pt. pleasant. I went with my dad, Dave, and Had. Got to the boat Thursday night and off we went. Started fishing around 6 am. First drop was around 450 using 2lb of lead. First fish I got was a nice 9lb golden. Second fish I got was a 10lb blue line. There was a lot of nice action in that area. Mostly blue line and some golden. Then we made a move to a 900 ft drop using 3lb of lead. It was a little bit slower but had some nice fish come up. After a while cranking up 900 ft isn't fun. Then we moved to a little bit shallower area and caught more blue line and golden tile fish. At around 730 pm we were on our last drift and I got my personal best 15 1/2 lb golden tile fish. During the trip we also caught some rose fish and a wreck fish. Between the 4 of us we must of had 50 - 60 fish.

Nice job guys especially working 900 feet. See you soon for some shallow water action.

Nice work. I've been hooked on deep dropping since my first tile trip. The rosies and wrecks are my favorite fish to eat.
