Golden Eagle - Big BLUES to 16lbs

We picked at the BIG BLUES today in the 12 to 16lb range. Almost everything was on bait today. We read enough fish today that you would think it would be crazy fishing but the fish just didn't bite right.

The GOLDEN EAGLE sails everyday for BIG BLUES & STRIPERS at 7:30am from Belmar marina in Belmar, NJ. Night BLUES on Saturday nights departing at 7:30pm.

Went up to look at the screen and OMG!! Off the charts readings that didn't exactly correspond with the catching. While it should have been an every cast hook up kind of day, there were enough fish to be had if you worked hard for them. Too many people don't listen to the mates and captain who were constantly telling them how to go about catching listless fish in tough conditions.
