Fished there several times in the past week, did really good. A week ago Saturday you could see 40 to 50 feet down. Clear as a bell. :)

Look here under resources and related links and you will see there is a link to NJ's reefs.

Its about time! Very easy to find, launch out of LBI near the lighthouse or across on the mainland. Head south of the inlet and go 10 miles and look for the parking lot!

Exactly! Was fishing on a friend's boat this past Saturday, there's no mistaking where the reef is when you see all the boats cluttered together.

If you head south out of LBI, you will go to the Garden State Reef South not North.

If you go out of LEI you go to south, if you go out of BI, you go to north.

GSNR is a lot closer from barnegat inlet about 7 miles south east. More structure on it too than GSSR. I landed my personal best tog (12.2 lbs) on the GSNR

If you head out of the inlet and go south the 1st reef that you come to is Garden State Reef North if you go about 3-4 miles more south you come to the Garden State Reef South.

Check your charts sir, 3 miles NorthEast of Barnegat is the Tires, South 10 miles is the GSN, go another 2-3 miles and you hit the GSS.
