Friday/sat. Recap on the shrimp

Friday fished with Johnny tomatoes. Got a late start but found the fish quickly. I had a great afternoon catching six keepers to about six pounds. Johnny got his limit and we thru our last couple back. We caught over the boat limit but came home with less, giving some back for karma

Saturday:
Left the boat down at a friends (thank you), so after picking it up and getting bait at Pete's we were off.

Vintastic and I stopped were I had them the day before and we pick some fish and I got the first keeper, a nice fiver. Hit the Ambrose at slack but had no love. It was beautiful out so I made the run further east. Picked a couple more keepers and a ton of shorts. Decided to get back to local waters before the southerlies kicked up (good move). Got back to local waters and start pickin again in building afternoon seas. When a rouge wave came up over the transom and soaked vin and I, I looked up and took notice of the solid four foot close sloppy seas:eek: OK, time to go!

Ended the day with three keepers and plenty of 17 inch fish. Will be back at it soon
