Carma: Make nice with a Robalo guy from SI and he hands u a bucket full of Livies. Got my limit in the reach plus 3 more that live to see another day. I pays not to dueche people when you slide in from the deep.

Question is where do I get live PB, net them? Pay for them? Find the guy with the Robalo again.....btw thank you so much...made my day what a kind jesture.

Very easy to cast net as they usually school up very tight and can be seen mulling around on top. You'll find them in marinas, bays and shallows.

Will they keep in a bunker penn that is in the water?
Monmouth Cove Marina is where I am, lots of snappers, spearing but I dont think their are pb yet. Maybe Kills Marina - NY where my new best friend hails from?

Never tried to keep them in a pen. Kills would be a good place to look as well as Keyport.

I tried keeping them in a pen once and they didn't hold. This time of year they are easy to find and there are huge schools in Morgan so just try and net them before heading out. You can use a 3' cast net to throw on top of them which is really easy to use.
