Going to head down south tomorrow with the lady and try toggin at the lighthouse area. Never fished down there from land, any advice? Should I bring some squid for triggers? Good lunch recommendation for some seafood?
Just going down to relax and spend some time with the GF and check out the area.
Thanks in advance!

Literally everything runs through that inlet. I've caught blues, stripers, weakfish, fluke, tog and seabass. I know sheepshead are down there too. And that's all with my feet planted on the rocks. I'm certain triggers are there, I've just never caught them. The diner/restaurant right next to the parking lot for the lighthouse has never done me wrong.

Down here now, caught some small stripers by the condos. Good place for food is "Off the Hook" in the Viking village. Have a great time and let us know how you make out. Jeff

Thanks for all the advice guys. Fished for a few hours caught 5 shorts and a bunch of baby seabass and a blowfish. Guy next to me got 14incher and a bluefish but no keepers and the bite was very scratchy. Water seems too warm for much more action.
Till next time...
