Islander II

Decided to take Monday off before the blow. Got a crew together in no time and headed out. Had to leave late due to the extremely low tide from the super moon. The reports that I heard weren't very good from Friday on. I did however get one decent one. On our way to the Chicken, we decided to change course. 15 miles from the area we where headed to, we start to see life and then fish breaking water everywhere. They turned out to be mahi, hundreds of them. Bucktailed a couple and decided to head for the tuna grounds. Got there in within 30 minutes on the troll we got covered up only coming tight on 2 yellowfin. We where the only boat there. Proceeded to the troll the area for the rest of the day with a ton of knock downs and 3 more yellowfin, and an under Bluefin. Awesome weather, great fishing, some happy guys, and a nice ride home. Lots of laughs as usual. I would also like to thank Pete at Atlantic Bait and Tackle for 250lbs of ice which he so kindly donated for the trip and some nice ballyhoo that caught these fish.
