we braved some sloppy seas but upon reaching the canyon we were rewarded with three nice yellowfin on the troll be fore we set up for the night. the night was pretty uneventful untill the sword rod went off and mike reynolds was on the fish for quite some time befrore we chaffed of 300lb leader. at false light we landed a nice 50 pound yellowfin that mike put the wood to in short order( quickly grabbing my slickers as the fish almost pulled me in while gaffing) thanks big guy. back on the troll we added many more yellowfin, keeping two for the table and releasing many small ones to grow for next season.
