Golden Eagle - Monday - Very Good Big Blues & Mahi

MORE BIG BLUES plus a MAHI about 20lbs and a couple of Pollack between 20 & 30lbs. It was very good fishing today for the BIG BLUES in the 10 to 14lb range. We caught them on bait & jigs but the bait was working better.

On the afternoon trip yesterday Capt Jim put together a very nice catch of keeper FLUKE with several fish in the 4 to 5lb range along with some SEA BASS and short FLUKE.

Come on down tomorrow and get in on some fo this action with the BIG BLUES.

That's a nice mahi, must have put on quite a show. Completely forgot about the cod & pollock when out with you Sunday as I had big blues on almost every drop. Kinda stupid as I pulled up a nice 4lb sea bass on my first drop, you'd think I'd have kept the weight on there and dropped right back down. Get out there people, that's a great area for a variety of fish. Next week for the albies. I can feel them coming.
