You missed a good day to be on the ocean, warm temperatures , flat ocean, and decent fishing. The morning started out with a good drift and good fishing, right from the first stop, we had a decent bite from the short and keeper fluke and sea bass, big improvement's from yesterday's fishing. The bait user's had some good action with a good drift this morning. Later the drift slowed down and the buck tails and gulps got most of the action. Jerry and Joe from Hightstown N.J. had nine keepers, Joe the Watchman had his limit, Pete won the pool with a 5 lb. 14 oz. fluke plus he had two other nice keepers. Others had 1-3 keeper fluke. As the drift got better in the afternoon, fishing got better, we stood out longer in the afternoon to give the group more fishing time, as the fishing improved.
Join us tomorrow for a fun day the weather is looking good, we leave at 7:30 am this is fluke season
