Does anyone know if the PP Canal is producing keeper togs this time of the year? Has anyone been out there recently?

Not sure if the tog are bitting yet but i usually start mid sept. However we troed livelining in there early this morning after a dead night out front and it was solid weeds it would prob be hard to hold a sinker still with the grass moving through the water as it just bunches up on the line

Just wondering if anyone fished the canal in the past few days.

A few short tog and seabass on crabs but they only bite for a very short time during slack tide. Nothing worth measuring.

Was there today brother and I caught about 40 fish 3 keepers.

Tried for a few...no bites where I usually fish, so I decided to call it quits and watch some football.
