Capt. Kevin reports today aboard the 35' Bullet a pick of fish all day. Everyone had at least 4 keeper Fluke up to 7 lbs, with shorts and Sea Bass in the mix. Tank was aboard today and tagged almost all the short Fluke we had today. The guys opted not to take any pictures today as everyone wanted to get off the boat and into the A/C. We have rescheduled tomorrows trips on both boats due to ocean conditions. Check our open boat schedule and book soon, these trips will fill and sail, don't get shut out. Remember, Sea Bass will reopen September 1 - 7 with larger bag limits. We will have charters and open boat trips available targeting Sea Bass with all the other delicious bottom dwellers you love, book your charter early. The only swinging are the rods sticking fish. We double anchor, we sit like a duck and get right on 'em.

Just wanted to share, after speaking to Tank, he told us that "two tagged fluke caught in the NY Bight 30 days ago, were recaptured. One was caught by an angler, in a river, in Connecticut. The other was caught by a dragger, 100 miles offshore, amazing this Fluke traveled 3 1/3 miles a day and returned offshore". Also, a short Striped Bass from Raritan Bay was recaptured in Maine, not uncommon, but it shows you how far fish will travel.
