Nice day to be fishing, morning drift was a little slow, that did not stop the short flatties from keeping you busy all around the rail, can't forget the keepers in the mix coming aboard. The drift picked up in the afternoon and so did the bites from the keeper fluke . There was plenty of activity all day.. Charles from Freehold N.J. won the pool with his 7 lb. 1 oz. fluke, he also had four keepers. Kirk Williams from Cherry Hill N.J.had 3 keepers plus a lot of throw backs. Don's group of four, each had their limit of large "knucklehead" sea bass in the mix. Jimmy the Peach from Neptune N.J. had a couple of quality keepers and many throwbacks. Tyler Larabuente from Belmar also had some quality keepers and shortie fluke that kept him busy.. Everyone went home with fish...
