We went back to where we fished yesterday and it looked good to start with 8 nice keepers on the second drift with Jim having 3 quick keepers. It feel apart with only a keeper per drift with some nice sea bass. I checked a number of new areas that normally produce this time of the season, Didn't find much and finished the day in our bay with the start of the ebb and a south wind. Great conditions and good short life. Then in the last couple of minutes Kurt berry from Hatfield Pa. hooks and lands the pool fish around 7 pounds beating Walter's 6 pound fish that lead all day. It goes to show you it ain't over till it's over. Some did OK but not a good day.
Chartered tomorrow Friday 8/1
