Captain Cal Fluke Marathon 9lbs 2oz. Pool Winner

We had good day on the water today flat ocean and a .7 kt. drift.
Our pool winner was a 9 lb. 2 oz. fluke caught by Rich Veisz Allentown N.J. he also had 3 other keepers, Nice fishing Rich.
Pete Zimba Jackson N.J. had his 5 keeper fluke largest 4 lb. 8 oz.
Joe Zisa also had 5 keeper fluke largest 4lb. 4oz.
Rob Hrvek had his limit of fluke largest 3 lb. 9 oz.
Jonathan Harman had four fluke largest 6 lbs. 1 oz.
Dave Kaczka and son had five fluke largest 4 lbs. 2 oz.
Bernie Arnistead had four fluke largest 4 lb. 1 oz.
Jack Flanish had four fluke largest 5 lb. 4oz.
The buck tails did best today, the bait draggers had 1-3 keepers

Nice day of fishin. Looks like rob didn't miss a beat!

What a day. Some nice quality fish came over the rail. Had my limit up to 4lbs along with a lot of shorts. Dropped a couple of nicer fish too. Plenty of action along with an occasional lull. The Capt moved around and got us back into the bite. A 3oz Bucktail with a 6" gulp grub worked best for me.

Way to put them on the meat Capt. Ron. Heard the boat got in late. You gave your customers a full day on the water. The best kept secret in Belmar.

This was my first fluke marathon on this boat. Would definitely go again. Good Captain and the crew worked hard as well. If you want to catch some big fluke that lay in the rocks, this is the trip to go on.
