The weather was comfortable, the ocean flat , and a little slower drift of .4 kts,. With the slower drift we took advantage of fishing over structure, we targeted big fluke, we had larger quality fluke coming over the rail. The pool $$$ winner was Al Eckels from Neptune N.J . had five keepers with his pool winner a 7 lb. 10 oz. fluke, he also had 5 lb. 8 oz. fluke, along with three other fluke just over 5 lbs. Good fishing Al. Scott from Toms River N.J. had four larger keepers , a 5 lb. 1 oz. fluke, and three fluke over 4 1/2 lbs. Chris from Summit N.J. had a 5 lb. 5 oz. fluke. It was a good day for larger fluke. Later, we moved around and the short flatties continued to give you action around the rail with some quality keepers in in the mix. Pictures to follow later.
