July 21st Report

Captain Matt reports beautiful day to be on the water. The sun was out and the swell died down to make the ocean nice and calm. We had a lot of dirty water inshore Fluke fishing today due to the North tide running down the beach. Fluke fishing was tough for us both trips. Tried inshore, offshore, rocks and rubble but could not find the right ones that wanted to bite. Just a handful of keepers came up but they were all nice size fish! Not to worry, these fish have been biting funny all year but the water is back up to 70 degrees and we should see a improvement in Fluke fishing this week.

DECENT ACTION ON THE BLUES MONDAY NIGHT!!!!!

Captain Matt said he took a ride offshore and was able to put a decent catch of the 1-2lb Blues with a few around 3lbs. Like I said, its lots of fun on the light tackle. We also landed a decent size Mahi and bonita! All fish were caught on bait tonight. Did not see as many squid as the previous nights. It sounds like the bigger Blues are starting to move this way so fishing should pick up within the next 2 weeks (hopefully)!
