Dorothy B todays...fishing

What a gorgeous day on the water for getting a tan or catching up on some summer reading. I could tell you all the usual crap like how we had no drift for a lot of the time or how Capt Kevin drove all over the place looking for fish that wanted to chew, and that we did manage a few nice keepers and caught some shorts, all of which is 100% true. OR I could just say that today sucked.
So it sucked, folks. Sucked big time. Sucked mightily. Sucked like it was going out of style. Sucked like the suckiest suck that ever sucked. But to those that know and those that are learning today is why we call it FISHING and not catching.
Will it suck forever? No. Might it suck tomorrow? Maybe. Could tomorrow be the best day ever? Possibly. Could tomorrow be 10,000 times better than today? Probably. Will we be going for it everyday non-stop in search of the mother lode? You bet your ass!

Hope springs eternal in the hearts of fisherman and so we will shape up in the morning and go at it 100% again tomorrow.

Funny as hell!!! It`s the knowledgeable fisherman that knows regardless how hard the captain tries that sometimes it"s just not happening. Thanks for the honest report.

People buy scratch off tickets everyday sometimes you win other times you loose but that's what this years Fluke seasons like. I just say if it's a nice day just go remember how cold this winter was & it's coming. Just enjoy the day out on the water enjoy the comradery of your fellow fisherman. Remember one thing work is for people who don't know how to fish:D
