Captain Matt reports that they picked away at some Fluke Saturday morning. There was a good amount of keepers along with some throwbacks that came over the rail. Brian Vida of Bayonne NJ took the lead in our Monthly Pool with a 8lb 2oz Fluke that morning! Fish were caught on gulps and squid/spearing combo. The Northeast wind picked up Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday and shut the bite down. Not to worry though because usually this wind will bring in warmer and cleaner water so the bite should get good as the week goes on. This is the time of year the big ones are moving in so come on down and get yours!

As for Bluefishing, the captain says we picked and plucked at the 1-1.5lb fish on Saturday and Sunday night. Bait, teasers and jigs worked. Hopefully this Northeast wind we had the past couple of days will push some bigger ones in our area. Last night, we caught some ling with the Blues the last hour. This fishing is fun with some light tackle. There has also been quite a few squid around so if you are intrested, bring a squid jig with you as well. We will keep giving it our best every night to find the big blues!!!!

SAILING EVERY DAY FOR FLUKE AND EVERY NIGHT FOR BLUES!!!
