Capt. Matt reports, really nice day on the ocean today. Finally, a day where it has not blown out of the South for a change. With all the South wind over the past couple of days, it has chilled off the water a lot and has put the Fluke in a sluggish biting mode. We have seen some decent size Fluke along with some nice size Sea Bass and Ling to go with it. Most of the Fluke we catch have been on the rough bottom. Nuclear chicken gulps, green gulps and squid/spearing combo has been the best. We should see the water warm back up over the weekend here and hopefully the Fluke will get into a better feeding mode!

THE LITTLE BLUES ARE STARTING TO SHOW UP!!!!

Lots of life where we were last tonight. We saw a lot of the little 1-2lb Blues along with the little mahis swimming on top. It took a little time to get them going but we picked away at the Blues. We also had a decent catch of Ling, few Sea Bass, and 1 nice size Monkfish! This is the time of year they show up and start schooling up. Its a lot of fun with light tackle! Hopefully, they will stick around for a while and the bigger ones show up right behind them!
