Sad Start…But Fish To 6.75 W/ Bonus 11 ½ Pound Fluke

So we finally made it on The Monger thanks to Bob Clark (NJFISHING MEMBER) but it was cancelled due to the weather. So what do we do when we have a free day…phone a friend and fish the bay.

Fished the hook, Great Kills and The Reach and ended up with 12 keepers to 6.75 pounds (Keefe caught on white bucktail w/ squid).

Then…check my phone to see my friend Austin holding and 11 ½ pound fluke that he caught on a Bucktailboys white 4oz bucktail tipped w/ a chartreuse gulp caught off of Breezy Point.

Another great day on the water. Hope to get out again on Friday if not BTB will be back out Wed. with The Golden Touch.

The bigger fish always seem to hit the bucktail on the bottom. Nice catch.

Very true, all of the bigger fish inhaled the bucktail. Still amazes me how many fish on the teaser.
