Saturday morning, we headed North of our inlet. We saw plenty of fish with an occasional fish on top. We picked away and caught some blues.

Saturday night, we fished east of Shark River Inlet. We made a few moves as fishing was slow, but we did manage to catch a handful of small blues. None of the other boats had a fish from what it sounded like. The pool winner was Connor Miller from Malungie, PA. Hopefully there will be a new body of fish moving in soon and we can improve on the catch.

Sunday morning, we headed North again. It was very slow and the fish did not want to cooperate.

This morning, we continued North. We didn’t see or read the fish so we opted to anchor up and picked away at ling and caught a few fluke and sea bass.

I would like to personally like thank you for running full bore across Flynns Knoll thru a small fleet of drifting fluke boats. The wake you threw over the stern of my boat was much appreciated.@#%#&%@

Yea...I saw that too when the boat was running east out of the bay. Was nuts...we slowed down to take that wake ourselves. Wasn't a nice thing to do honestly.

This was yesterday morning. I hate to call out a sponsor but there is twenty miles of ocean between Belmar and Sandy Hook to create enough seperation between yourself and the rest of the southern fleet to fulfill your ' first to the grounds' guarantee. Every other southern boat had enough courteousy to keep it in the channel, going around the knoll before heading west up the reach. Rant over.
