This fish was caught a week too early. I need to do this again next week for the sandy hook fluke tournament. But thats not going to happen. What are the chances of me doing this again this year? It was caught at the TC. Now I know how fin-s feels. He did the same thing last year just days before the tournament. Fish was 11.5 lbs. and 30" long. sorry pic are sideways

WOW- Nice fish! Was that a double header or is the smaller fish in the picture there to compare size?
What did you catch it with?

The photo with the 14'' inch fish is great! You can still tell that a fish is big in a photo when it is the only fish but that comparison photo really brings it home- makes the small fish look like a minnow! Good luck on a repeat performance next week. Congrats!

Awesome fish...but you definitely won't catch her next week if she's in the cooler. :p
Tough to let let those big fish go but feeling that big tail paddle out of your hand is super cool.
Absolutely not faulting you for keeping it either. Fish that size can feed a couple families.
Great fish Don and detailed report!
