Info needed for fishing in Dominican Republic

Does anyone know of a good boat/captain in Punta Cana. I will be there in a couple of weeks and will take any advise. I have been on many "boat rides" in the islands and would like to hook up with a good operation. Thanks

I used Mike's Marina. I stayed at the Hard Rock and they provided transportation to and from. I went for a 1/2 day and had pretty good action on average size Mahi. Good luck. http://mikesmarina.info

I've been to the Melia Caribe 5 times over the past few yrs. U can book a spot on an open 6 pack 4hrs $90 and tip I hand the mate $$ just after I get on the boat.
Almost every trip there was 3 or 4 other people taking pics and not paying attention so U get da rod have a good time!!
