We started the day with a lot of wind, a fast drift some keepers and shorts. When the wind dropped and conditions got better the fishing got worse till the end of the day when we had good fishing but it was all shorts. Not too productive with the keepers today. Tim Rupp from Lafayette had todays pool fish.
The weather looks much better tomorrow and I am sure the fishing will also improve. 0
Thanks captain George

Very accurate report. We fished the same areas and had the same results. No one was outside or were there for only a heartbeat. The ocean was almost flat but the flatfish were somewhere else. Thanks for the no BS report. A pick would describe our efforts but there were only two of us. A pick for you is different. When you don't catch them, they can't be caught.

Showed up at 6am with my brother, not expecting much after the storm. Found the port pulpit open and set up for a day of jigging. First drop the wind was howling. First cast I hook the first keeper. Unfortunately Jose was not there to organize the dollar pool. Seven shorts for me over the next three hours and nothing but a few taps after that. Seemed like the bait guys did better later in the day. Was a beautiful day on the water, not a cloud in the sky.

First fish keeper curse. My last 2 trips prior to today I had that happen. Started with a lot of shorts then banged out 3 keepers to 21".
