We had a good group of fluke fishermen aboard today, for our first Tuesday of "Fluke Marathon" Fishing.
Congratulations To Ed Mathews from Shrewsbury N.J. the $$$$ big pool winner with his 8 lb. 8 oz. fluke , good fishing Ed.
The morning started with some good action , with 5 and 6 lb. fluke in the mix coming over the rail, and more action from the shorts, the buck tails did well today. Fishing was decent until the wind picked up in the afternoon, and the drift picked up to 1.8 kts, making it harder to hold bottom, even with the faster drift, the group was able to bring aboard more keeper fluke. Not a bad day of fluke fishing considering the winds.. Picture of 8 pounder not available at this time.
