Morning trip today proved the old adage is true "West is best". Gentle Westerly winds and a timely tide change yielded perfect conditions and good flukin' by the Ammo Pier and Flynn's Knoll today. I had 15 shorts + 2 keepers, including the 25" 5.5 pound pool fish. Us bucktailers definitely caught larger fish (several 22-24"ers) but bait draggers had plenty of action today too. I'll post a pic after Captain Robbie Blogger updates his website . . .

Pic added. That fancy-ass spinner I'm displaying is the Rod I won in Alex/MVP's fund-raising raffle. Getting Kevin Bogan to chop off 11" off the Tip was like asking him to commit Hari-kari; after I explained to him that I wanted to radically change the Rod's action, he reluctantly did so. Now I've got myself a nice light jigging combo with just the action I needed - thanks Alex !!
