What a difference a day makes. We caught the change of tide first thing this morning and hit the channels. The first drop was all shorts but we made a short move and found some fluke. When the current got strong we move to the west and found a pocket of fluke which we played till the south wind killed the drift.
We had quality fish today with many fish 5 to 6 pounds and a 7 pound pool fish for Ralph Bonard from Ogdensburgh who brought out his son fluking.
We also had some quantity today with Al katz a long time regular and excellent spro jigger had his limit today. there were others with 3 or 4 keepers.
After some slow days it was good to see some nice fluke moving in.
Sailing at 7:00 AM tomorrow.
CHARTERED FRIDAY
Thanks Captain George
