Hey All!

I know we have quite a few warriors out there in 'yaks and rafts so I was looking for some advice.

- I need something inflatable, because I have no place to store a hull or tubes.
- Want to keep it under $700 if possible.
- Using in small rivers, and large flat lakes.
- Needs Electric motor mount.

Here's the kicker, I had ruptured disks in the back, so I need to sit as high as possible. I also can't sit for more than 45 mins at a time so I need to stand frequently, or more often than not.

I was thinking of a 9' pontoon like this, but I would have to beach every so often to stand. Also, the chair is not as high as I like it:

I would prefer one with a deck, but the only ones I found are well over $1k:

I guess kayaks don't come with high seats because of the issues with tipping?

If anyone can recommend something that would work, it would be greatly appreciated! :D

A canoe has a fairly high seat and if you get one of the more stable hull designs you can definitely stand in it. Something like an Old Town Angler even comes with a back rest and at 12 ft long, is easy to store. The Mad River Heritage TS would also be a good choice. Stable enough to stand and it can be paddled easily solo or tandem
