Saturday 6/21 was just a shit show, we had Adam Kohora and friends on board from Allentown PA for Striper and Seabass. No surprise here, the Forecast was flat out wrong, we got our ass kick all morning. Despite the horrible conditions the guys fished hard, going 0 for 1 on stripers, we stopped on a wreck late in the trip and were able to get a couple nice Seabass and Ling so the guys wouldn’t go home empty handed.
Sunday 6/22 felt like a vacation compared to Saturday with light wind and flat seas. Running only our second open boat trip of the season we hit the wrecks with good customers John and son Derrick from Hershey, PA new comers Kenny Lagan and friend (sorry I forgot your name) and old friends Tom and Ed. Our first drop was good but quickly died the second drop was a very small postage stamp size wreck that took me a little bit of time to get situated on but once we got on, it was lock and load with some really nice size seabass and ling. Third stop was just OK but by then we had a box full!
We have some open dates in July and Aug, we will be fluking on the inshore side and looking to run off in search of Bluefin on the offshore side. Give me a call or drop me an email if you’re interested in getting out.
