Stripers and Wedding

My daughter Jaclyn is getting married this weekend and since my grandson was up for a visit we had a small window of opportunity to try and get him on a trophy Striper. Snagged some bunker right outside Leonardo, went and got some fuel and off we went out and around the hook and down the beach.

Got to the area where I heard there was a good bite the day before and there were acres of bunker waiting for us but nothing on them. Was going to try to run further south but our time window was short so we stuck it out there for a few hours hoping they'd turn on but that was not to be. Judging by the reports they eventually did turn on.

A very exciting weekend coming up for our family. Very happy for Jaclyn because she found the right guy. Adam is perfect for her and when children find true love, parents find true joy.

I can relate to your post Jerry, I have my oldest daughter Katie's wedding in a few weeks, she too has found a great guy! We are having the wedding at the Water Witch, over-looking Sandy Hook Bay, the Atlantic and NYC. Both of them growing up around the Jersey Shore I couldn't think of a nicer place.
